Tiffany’s Dedication

Last week we participated in James and Beatrice Nyaga’s grandchild Tiffany’s dedication to Christ. For two days Windy Hill hosted this blessed event for over forty of Jame’s family, friends, and all of us here on Windy Hill.

The dedication was more towards Tiffany’s parents (Joshua and Carol) and family than little Tiffany. As we met together we were all charged to consecrate our lives in prayer for the purpose of living out our lives as disciples of Christ thus giving little Tiffany a real demonstration of what it means to follow our Master. We noted that this was not to be done lightly. The heavenly host, the great cloud of witnesses, and God almighty … looked on.

The sweetness and joy of the Holy Spirit graced our efforts. He was there … but the seriousness of our commitment to this lifelong task also brought sobriety. Christ stated…

“But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea.” Mark 9:42 Just being a ‘Christian’ does not negate His words.

May we all be constantly aware of the covenant with our Father to protect, provide and persevere in loving Tiffany and all His ‘little ones’.
