A new roof, repairing a big water tank and getting a house for an Angel.
As most of you know we are going to have another wedding, before the end of this year. They are without a doubt two of the sweetest people we’ve ever met…. Wangui and Njeroge. Both of them are precious disciples who have proven their worth in ministry. We could not do this without them.
Wangui, after learning her skills at the SMI sewing center, is now running her own sewing center. She teaches students how to sew and does clothing repair and creative sewing projects. She also founded and helps oversee the Miti Mingi church with Justus, Angie, and David.
Njeroge is a Safiri driver (think Kenyan Uber) and runs the Naivasha Safiri operation. He is also the overseer for our church in Engashura. Between them, they are raising five wonderful children.
They have, on their own, paid for all house expansion needed for their families.
Our biggest water tank is in need of repairs. We’ve been losing half of what we pump into it. Holding 10,000 liters of water, it should take care of all the needs of all the other houses. But alas, it has leaked because of the Acacia roots boring into the bottom layer. We fixed it, and now it is not is not leaking… Praise the Lord! We had to completely remake the bottom.
Lastly … we have gotten a little angel to encourage us in our daily life. We finally obtained for him a house to live in out on our porch. Hallelujah!
Pray for us…
