Our guys have been hard at work to complete the first floor of our dormitory. The floor and walls will be ready for paint by the end of this week. Glass for the windows and terrazzo flooring should also be completed.
We had to cut approximately a 2-3 foot deep and about 300 feet long trench through solid rock for the sewage and gray water piping. That was a tedious and tough job.
The dormitory will be used to accommodate future students and provide lodging for visitors for seminars, conferences, youth gatherings, leadership teachings, weddings, and a host of other SMI events.
We still have a ways to go but are hoping the first floor will be ready in time for our annual ‘Ingathering Celebration’ at the end of 2020. All this amid a pandemic, a significant drop in donations, and adding 5 or 6 new SMI fellowships. We are so grateful to our Father and to all those who have assisted us. We are still seeing the reality of the promise … “All things work for good to those that love God and are called to his purpose.” Romans 8:28
Donations are always appreciated and needed. Please feel free to help us in our work here.
