Free Clinic!
It took two whole days to get the school in shape, to accommodate our annual ‘Free Clinic’ at StoneHouse Academy Primary School, but, we did it. The team from St. Mary’s Hospital arrived at 8:00 am Saturday morning and began readying themselves to see the one hundred and sixty two patients they would treat that day. It was a good day!
We stationed our living sign posts at the gates and people began to come. Later that day, a bus load of orphans arrived from a local orphanage with over thirty two children needing to be examined. The qualified team of nurses and doctors from St. Mary’s hospital, were able to help two critical cases that could have resulted in serious complications, had they not been discovered.
A special thanks to Michelle, Linda and the entire staff from St. Mary’s Hospital, who made everything run so efficiently. We are also grateful for all the nurses coming from the University of Michigan in America. Together they helped us show the love of our God to the people in our community.
