"For Lo, I'll always be with you"

"For Lo, I'll always be with you"

A song written by David R Taylor

January 20, 1947 - June 20, 2024: David was born January 20, 1947 to Don R Taylor and Billie Gene Lewis Taylor. David and Cynthia were married for 37 years, blessed with a blended family of 8 children and 17 grandchildren.

Time no longer has a hold on my Beloved David aka Abba Noah, Dad, Paw, Grandpa, mentor and brother to many. He entered his eternal dwelling place on Thursday June 20, 2024 and he awaits us there in eternity.

In life he was a mentor, maker of disciples of Jesus, founder of Christian gatherings in Florida, Tennessee, and Kenya, Africa. He supported his family working as an aluminum contractor, building screen rooms and pool enclosures and then "retired" to build the Kingdom of God.

He loved photography, driving, Pineapple upside down cake, God’s creation and landscaping making everywhere we lived together beautiful.

For the past 12 years he and I worked in Kenya teaching those called to Christian discipleship and establishing StoneHouse Ministries International. The work will continue as David was diligent to equip the saints to do the work of the ministry.

Ephesians 4:11-13 – And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.

We will place a memorial stone and plaque for David, on our daughter Aubry Noelle Taylor’s grave who, at the age of 14, passed on before us in September 1993.

The gathering will be at Cemetery Road, Geneva, Florida, Sunday July 14, 2024 at 10 am. His remains of cremation will be buried beside his mother’s grave in Nakuru, Kenya - Billie Gene Lewis Taylor, who passed away while in our care in Kenya, January 25, 2023 and was buried there.

“For Lo, I’ll always be with you!”  Matthew 28:20

Please continue to pray for us. We are grateful for all of you who encourage us daily as a family in this time of change in our lives and to those who continue to support StoneHouse Ministries International in Kenya.

Remembering his life together,
