Urgent Need in Kamagu

Meanwhile, we have continued to work on our dormitory and are slowly getting it ready for future discipleship training seminars, conferences, youth rallies, and other SMI events. The bottom floor is almost finished, along with a small wellness room for Cynthia to treat the frequent injuries and health problems that arise within and without our churches.

Almost weekly (sometimes daily) there are health issues and or accidents to deal with. Children die here often from parents not knowing what to do.

We also lost six different friends and members during this time. These are pictures of the two we especially miss.

This has been an exceptional time for baptisms. We have welcomed into the Kingdom scores of disciples. The joy on the faces of these converts expresses the jubilation felt in becoming new citizens of the Kingdom. The first three pictures are of a ninety-four year old woman. It is never too late to be saved. This was followed by a love feast. Disciples baptizing disciples reveals the spiritual growth happening in our churches.

We have completed the fourth house for our newest family Robert, Helen and their children. Robert and Hellen have also taken in a small child to be raised as their own.  Anju is John’s daughter. Her mother died a few years ago. John is one of our workers who doesn’t have the time or provision to raise this child without help.

Our ministries are flourishing as we labor to equip the saints for life and ministry. Everything from making CV-19 masks to …

Creating small businesses for widows and abandoned women, like Mary’s seed and grain store…

Janet’s Baking shop…..

Rose’s fish business…..

Stellah’s Tailoring Shop. She was given a sewing machine when she graduated from Wangui’s sewing school.

We continue to support children’s school fees through our LEARN program and have added, Ann, our first university student.

Church planting and teaching ministries such as …Moses’s two new fellowships on the border of Tanzania and Kenya …

Teaching/Fellowship meetings in market places …

Richard and Beatrice Bitok’s 3 home churches…

There has been strong growth in Ponda Mali’s church under the tree …

Roberts two new home fellowships …

Windy Hill’s children’s ministry held every Saturday and Sunday morning …

A new church fellowship in Kinjahi…

A precious visitation by our youth to two members struggling with new and old  disabilities. The young lady that lost her leg would have lost her life without our intervention.

Two bright happenings to end with… first we have been blessed with two new twins … the four legged kind. Very, very sweet.

Lastly, we believe our Father spoke to us about the times we live in. This happened through an incredible atmospheric event in the heavens. At six A.M. we witnessed a huge, glowing line in the heavens stretching from due east to due south. The line was filled with swirling rainbows and did not move for three hours. This was not a contrail or storm front. As we watched, our Father spoke to our hearts and said … “I am drawing a line in the heavens, make sure you are on the right side of it.”
